Memory Game - Our Gifts From Heavenly Father

What gifts has our Heavenly Father given to us? How does he show his love for us?

Print out two copies of each memory card.

Once a pair has been chosen, can the children tell you what gift Heavenly Father has given to us?

1. Heavenly Father asked Jesus to create a beautiful world for us.
2. He has given us scriptures to read and enjoy and to learn more of Him and His teachings.
3. We lived with Heavenly Father before we were born.
4. The gift of prayer. Let us listen carefully to the whisperings of the Holy Ghost in answer to our questions.
5. He has given us prophets, bishops and teachers to help us.
6. Heavenly Father has prepared a home for us to return to. Heavenly Father and Jesus want us to return to live with them once more.
7. Talents, talents, talents. Heavenly Father gives us all at least one talent!! Let us recognise our own and others' talents. There may be talents that are hidden within us. Let us discover them throughout our lives. However, we have to work on our talents - that is the "magic" ingredient.
8. Heavenly Father has given us families. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, great grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins, second cousins, even our brothers and sisters from church.
9. Heavenly Father gave us Jesus Christ. Jesus gave us His life and the great sacrifice in the Garden of Gethsemane. Through Jesus we can return to our Heavenly Father.
